If you are interested in learning more about research opportunities in our lab, what it’s like to be at UGA or to live in an awesome college town, please reach out!

Interested graduate students

We accept PhD students through two programs at UGA:
Integrated Life Sciences PhD Program
Comparative Biomedical Sciences Program

We also accept Masters students through the
Comparative Biomedical Sciences Program

Undergraduates

We routinely have 2-4 undergraduates in the lab each semester from various majors (Microbiology, Biology). Undergrads typically spend a semester learning about different projects and being mentored by a senior lab member before embarking on an independent project for research credit. Most students also work (paid!) over the summer in the lab.

Postdocs

If you are self-motivated, interested in food safety and want to learn about postdoc opportunities, please reach out.
