I am a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Microbiology with the plan to attend medical school after college. I joined the lab in January 2026 and will be working on isolating Salmonella from wildlife fecal samples and then sequencing the isolates to determine the specific serovar, which will help identify which strains of Salmonella are circulating in wildlife.  I enjoy watching football, playing basketball with friends, and I enjoy traveling to new places. 

Fun Fact: I broke the same bone in my arm twice when I was younger.
