Esther earned her bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Virginia Tech in 2023. She then joined the integrated life sciences program at UGA where she is now working on her PhD in microbiology. Her interests include studying microbial genetics and ecology. In her free time, she loves to read, bake, and spend time with her cats.
