Jared earned his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2020. He then joined the Integrated Life Sciences program at UGA where he is working on his PhD in Microbiology. His research interests include applied microbiology through environmental microbial ecology and wildlife health. In his free time, he likes to go on walks with his dog, Duke.
Fun Fact: “I am a certified rescue scuba diver”
